       In the early 1950's, Vincenzo Centrella began the rich family tradition of serving delicious Italian food to customers in his New Jersey restaurants. Vincenzo and his wife Barbara immigrated from Italy to New Jersey. They opened their first Italian restaurant, SOLE'S PIZZA, featuring crispy, Italian Style Pizza, homemade tomato sauce, and hand-rolled Meatballs. In 1958, Vincenzo opened.... PRESTO'S BRICK OVEN PIZZA in West New York. For the next 50 years, Vincenzo and his wife perfected their techniques, and passed their traditions along to their youngest son John.


       In 2014 John is continuing this family legacy by opening the first JERSEY MEATBALL COMPANY, in North Bergen, New Jersey, where he can share the family's famous Meatballs & Sunday Dinner traditions.
